Some Cedar Point Promotional Artwork

Something about the logos and promotional artwork used to market Cedar Point attractions, particularly the ones that popped up during the 1970s-late 1990s, hit me on a different level.

They're nothing too special, mainly just hand-drawn cartoons and fancy text probably designed by artists hired by the park, but I really love the use bright colors and the old-skool vibe they give off. Somehow they really manage to capture the fun summer atmosphere of the park.

Don't get me wrong, the current logos they design for newer rides are great too, but I really appreciate these old hand-drawn images. Here's just a random collection of Cedar Point artwork I took the time to search up. Enjoy.

The "Est. 1993" was added to cover up the former Pepsi sponsorship logo. Ha.

What's your favorite? There are many more, but these are just a few of the mainstream ones.

Until next time. -Max
